USC Hockey Broadcasting
Kasey Kazliner's passion for sports broadcasting comes from his love for storytelling, working with others and producing high-quality content.
Kasey's sports broadcasting career began in middle school, when he first launched his YouTube sports show. When the sports world went on hiatus due to the global pandemic during his ninth-grade year, he started focusing on Bay Area teams in particular and amassed over 1,600 subscribers, uploading multiple daily uploads for the entirety of his high school career.

In 2023, Kasey began his college journey at USC. Within his first three years at the University, he's served as Co-Director of KXSC Sports Radio; worked with the football team as a recruiting intern; podcasted and reported on three seasons of Los Angeles Kings hockey games and a season of Clippers basketball as a credentialed media member; broadcast a myriad of USC sports on Big Ten Plus; and more.

Through the Co-Director role at KXSC Sports Radio, USC's official student-run sports radio station, Kasey broadcasts all home and away football games, in addition to men's and women's basketball and baseball home games.
Beyond USC, Kasey has worked extensively with the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer. He became the official beat writer for the Quakes' affiliate team, The Town FC, in 2024, and is a host on The Aftershock podcast as a credentialed media member for Quakes Epicenter.
In 2025, Kasey broadcast 45 games for the Walnut Creek Crawdads, a summer collegiate baseball team in the Bay Area. This opportunity allowed him to build a strong relationship with the team, while also honing his craft.
During the 2026 summer, Kasey will head to Massachusetts to call games for the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
When Kasey isn't broadcasting, he's often playing the saxophone. He hopes to continue his passion for performing through a career in sports media.
